Owl iPod Cozy!

I just love those adorable crochet owl hats for babies! They are so cute. I'm sad to say I don't yet have any of those patterns, but they were the inspiration for my newest project... The Owl iPod Cozy!!


I worked for two days on this. (could only work on it in between taking care of two kids) I came up with my own pattern for everything you see on the cozy. I'm so very proud of this! I think it's adorable! It gave me inspiration to make more so now I have a growing list of iPod cozies I want to make. Want to add an idea? Comment below!Now more pics of my pretty cozy! Enjoy!

Baby bibs!

So today I made the best thing ever... A baby bib!!! Now as every parent knows with a drooly child you can never have to many bibs. I have a few but I wanted something extra absorbent and extra special.

 Now my baby is 2 1/2 months old and drools quite a lot. He wore this bib for hours and he stayed dry underneath the bib. I made it with flannel and a terry cloth fabric for the back. I just love how it turned out! I plan on making a ton more, when I get the time that is.

Welcome

I just wanted to welcome everyone to my blog and tell you a little bit about me. I'm married to a wonderful man and I'm a mother of two wonderful little boys. My oldest was born in February 2008 and my youngest was in June 2011. I absolutely love crafting and always have. I enjoy many different crafts but a few of my favorites are crochet, sewing, and scrap-booking. I enjoy making things for my boys and others as well!

I wanted to start this blog to share my projects and ideas with anyone who was interested! (Maybe it'll keep me motivated as well) Sometimes I get distracted, as I'm sure anyone with children does, and don't get things finished.
